Black Opal Palladium Ring

You may have heard of this stone but may not have seen a genuine one due to its rarity and cost.

This is a fabulous example of a black opal that we sourced for the customer. The black opal is completely natural and is a solid opal, not a doublet or triplet which is a slither of opal between plastic sheets. Everything you see here is genuine black opal.

The irregular shape of the black opal meant that we were only able to handmake the setting, so the entire ring was handmade in 950 quality Palladium in a rub-over style setting.
